About Our Wholesome Ingredients
Chicken meal is highly digestible and an excellent source of amino acids and quality protein. It is also very palatable to dogs.
The high quality pork meal used in Grandma Mae's Country Naturals is the perfect protein for your dog. Pork is wholesome, nutritious, great for the digestive system–and dogs love it.
Peas, Lentils and Chickpeas:
These “legumes” are excellent sources of energy and protein that have a low glycemic index and do not cause blood glucose (sugar) levels to spike right after ingestion. The reason to have more than one is that a dog’s system is likely to digest a variety of these legumes more efficiently than it would if there were only one or two of them.
The highest of all animal sources in linoleic acid, chicken fat is an important element for skin and coat health. It is very palatable, high in essential fatty acids, and easily and quickly metabolized.
Flaxseed is a good source of Omega-6 and Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which produce a soft, luxuriant coat.
Kelp is a naturally balanced supplement—an abunda
